How are Credit Unions Different from Banks?
A credit union is a not-for-profit organization of individuals, as opposed to a for-profit business dedicated to earning money for its shareholders and not for you. Since there are no shareholder dividends to pay and no salaries for our Board of Directors, all that money comes back to YOU, our member-owners, in the form of higher rates on deposit accounts and CDs and lower rates on loans. What could be better?
How Can I Join Alliance Credit Union?
Membership is open to anyone living or working in Alachua, Bradford, Gilchrist, Levy or Union County. Come in to one of our branches and apply today.
Will My Membership Expire?
NO! Once you are a member, you can remain a member for life. Even if you move away! The benefits of membership are immediate and fulfilling.

What this means to you
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
